Borneo Proboscis
The Proboscis Monkey has on e of the most unusual appearances of the leaf eating monkeys of the family Cercopithecidae that can only be found in Borneo. Noted for their large pendulous red noses and large pot bellies that resembled visiting Dutch sailors and plantation owners of the area at that time hence nicknamed, “the Dutchman of Borneo”.
